Planificación urbana basada en procesos complejos de toma de decisiones: una revisión del alcance

Este artículo presenta una idea de investigación interdisciplinar que engloba la teoría de la decisión en el desarrollo de políticas públicas, integrándola como enfoque de apoyo para llevar a cabo procesos de toma de decisiones complejos y conflictivos en el entorno urbano. El objetivo fue analizar, mediante una scoping review, las posibles interacciones entre los sistemas de apoyo a la decisión en los procesos de elaboración de políticas públicas urbanas. La metodología de investigación, predominantemente cualitativa, se basó en un análisis de contenido de los constructos establecidos a partir de nueve artículos científicos. Los resultados sostienen que los sistemas de apoyo a la toma de decisiones pueden contribuir y/o apoyar medidas más precisas, considerando los elementos en el diseño y proceso de las políticas públicas. La conclusión subraya la importancia de la planificación de las políticas públicas, haciendo énfasis en la necesidad de abordar los nuevos retos urbanos con una visión más democrática, sistémica y holística.
