Abstract

Breast cancer is a malignant, chronic and degenerative disease with a high incidence. The disease and its treatment generate physical and emotional repercussions in the patients. The objective was to evaluate the sexuality, quality of life and functional capacity of women undergone breast cancer treatment, coming from the Alfredo Abrão Cancer Hospital (HCAA), and diagnosed in the last two years. It was a cross-sectional study, in which women were subjected to the evaluation composed by the following questionnaires: Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI) and the Quality of Life Questionnaire Breast Cancer EORTC QLQ-C30; tests to evaluate functional capacity such as the 6-minutes Walk Test (6MWT), Sit and Reach Test (TSA) and Upper Limb Dynamometry. It was observed that there were impacts on the quality of life related to sexuality and functional capacity.
