Positioning of visitors on the Ecotourism of Prudentópolis

Abstract

For this research, we selected the main natural attractions of Prudentópolis, PR, known for offering Ecotourism and Adventure Tourism activities. We selected: Pousada Salto Sete, Recanto Perehouski, Reserva Particular do Patrimônio Natural Ninho do Corvo, Salto São Sebastião, Monumento Natural Salto São João, and the Parque Estadual Serra da Esperança. The aim was to investigate through the evaluations and testimonials available on the TripAdvisor site, the tourist’s position on the services offered, and their perception about sustainability in the attractions, as well as the evaluation that they made for each attraction. For methodology, we used bibliographic research, analysis of testimonials and evaluations of each attraction, case study, and interviews. The results obtained show the main positive and negative aspects mentioned in the testimonies, suggestions for improvements, community involvement with Ecotourism, and how the dissemination and evaluations on the Internet can be factors of influence in the choice of a destination.
